The Freebie sites mentioned are called IFWs, or referral sites. This basically means that they get paid if you do an offer for them. They partner or affiliate themselves with large businesses such as LoveFilm, British Gas and others. The freebie websites allow people to do an offer from one of these large companies. The offer usually consists of a free trial, or a free ringtone, but other companies require you to spend a little bit of money to complete the offer. For example, you might have to bet £5 in an online betting website in order for your offer to be completed. When you complete the offer, you get credit for it.
Now these big companies recognise that you, as a member of a freebie site, have completed their offer, and so the freebie site gives you your credit.
What now? Now you have to refer some people to do the same as you. The freebie site you joined will usually provide you with everything you need for doing this, but there are some extra hints and tips that I shall provide for you.
